Home

Soon,
I will be,
as the
uprooted tree,
for another
soil
calls me,
home.
and the rain
that raised me,
my roots
thirst for,
always,
for how long
have
my roots
not seen?
always
in the shallows,
always,
and unwilling,
to set
my roots
too deep,
that I might
uproot,
and easily,
that I might
go back
and soon,
back,
to where
I belong;
to this
always,
calling home.
